Vast, varied and vibrant, Australia is a visual dream. ‘Vast’ doesn’t do justice to its huge landmass with a 23,000 mile coastline, deserts as big as many whole countries and Uluru (Ayers Rock) monolith at its centre.
‘Varied’ barely begins to describe the landscape and its wildlife – lakes and waterfalls, sand dunes and rainforest, kangaroos, kookaburras and koalas, while the Great Barrier Reef, with its enchanting underwater world, is visible from the moon.
